Modified Cases

Active Metal Inc. is able to modify existing cases to suit your specific needs and requirements. By utilizing our experienced designers and engineers, we can save you time and money on modified standard cases by using existing glass sizes, metal forms and internal parts, but adapting to your individual specifications.

An example of a modified case (shown at right), is our top-mounted illuminator case developed for Memphis Millworks Creative Contractors for use in a National Research Medical Facility. These units used many of the standard parts used on a typical extrusion case, modified by mounting the illuminator at the top of the case, changing the door to a side-hinged door, sealing the glass edges, and fabricating the finished height for a specific area.
